Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

  • Candidates must have passed both the written and practical parts of the final MBBS Examination from a recognized university.
  • Those who are in their final MBBS examination can apply provisionally.
  • Candidates who haven’t completed their mandatory internship can also apply but must complete it before joining the post.
  • Proof of passing MBBS and completion of internship is required during the interview/personality test.

Age Limit

  • The upper age limit is 32 years as of 1st August 2025 (born on or after 2nd August 1993).
  • For Medical Officer Grade in the General Duty Medical Officers Sub-cadre of Central Health Services, the maximum age limit is 35 years.
  • Age relaxations apply as per government rules.

  • General/OBC/EWS Candidates: ₹200/-
  • SC/ST/PwBD/Female Candidates: Exempted (No Fee)

Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of two stages:

1. Written Examination (500 Marks)

  • Two objective-type papers (Each 2 hours long)

  • Candidates who qualify for the written exam will be called for the interview/personality test.
