Online Transfer and Posting System
KITE (formerly IT@School Project) has developed an online system for the transfer and posting of Headmasters, Assistant Educational Officers, and teachers in government high schools and TTI institutions across Kerala. This system has streamlined the entire process, ensuring faster execution and minimizing errors and corruption. Each year, many teachers apply for transfers to preferred locations. The online platform allows them to submit requests, which are then processed through computerized counseling. The system prioritizes applications based on predefined criteria such as service seniority and specific personal needs.
To improve transparency, schools input their vacancy details in advance, allowing teachers to review available positions before submitting their transfer requests. Applicants can choose up to ten preferred schools, ensuring that transfers are conducted fairly. Additionally, a provisional list is made publicly available online to maintain accountability and fairness in the process. The Samanwaya system serves as a unified interface for all stakeholders, further improving transparency and accessibility.
